Aeldari Narrative:
Farseer log 19.2.25.
After the last Aeldari day out got ruined by smurfs we decided to try our luck again but further out..... way further out. We thought that way we definitely wouldn't get disturbed by any filthy Mon-Keigh.
How wrong we were.... (what are we paying our Farseer for?)
This time we busted out our new food truck, the paint had barely dried on it, and our Barbeque pit boss 'Phoenix Lord Fuegan' was ready to feed the troops.
However, just as he was doing the last preparations a horrendous smell came in on the wind...... Rotten fish. In one of the many books kept in the black library deep in the web way is a tale of a most revolting food stuff favoured by only a few of the ancient civilization of Terra in a small land called Iceland. Canned Shark was known as a delicacy.
The canned sharks that turned up were definitely not a delicacy! So we quickly lept into action, determined not to let another group of bloody space marines ruin our time!
We raced out to meet them to settle this quickly so that we could get back to our food!
The battle started well, with us getting the jump on the big grey lumps but our early hope was quickly dashed faster than our windriders brains were.
What transpired over the next few hours can only be described as a feeding frenzy and we were the chum in the water!
The commanders in charge really need to start learning some of these lessons...... Better luck next time!
Verdict
69-17 Space marines win. Congratulations to both players for a fair and fun game! Look forward to seeing other Warhammer 40k players in Cardiff for our next HobbyMouse casual play event at Rhostio coffee!
