Aeldari Narrative:

Farseer log 19.2.25.

After the last Aeldari day out got ruined by smurfs we decided to try our luck again but further out..... way further out. We thought that way we definitely wouldn't get disturbed by any filthy Mon-Keigh.

How wrong we were.... (what are we paying our Farseer for?)

This time we busted out our new food truck, the paint had barely dried on it, and our Barbeque pit boss 'Phoenix Lord Fuegan' was ready to feed the troops.

However, just as he was doing the last preparations a horrendous smell came in on the wind...... Rotten fish. In one of the many books kept in the black library deep in the web way is a tale of a most revolting food stuff favoured by only a few of the ancient civilization of Terra in a small land called Iceland. Canned Shark was known as a delicacy.

The canned sharks that turned up were definitely not a delicacy! So we quickly lept into action, determined not to let another group of bloody space marines ruin our time!

We raced out to meet them to settle this quickly so that we could get back to our food!

The battle started well, with us getting the jump on the big grey lumps but our early hope was quickly dashed faster than our windriders brains were.

What transpired over the next few hours can only be described as a feeding frenzy and we were the chum in the water!

The commanders in charge really need to start learning some of these lessons...... Better luck next time!

Verdict

69-17 Space marines win. Congratulations to both players for a fair and fun game! Look forward to seeing other Warhammer 40k players in Cardiff for our next HobbyMouse casual play event at Rhostio coffee!

Battle report, by Imperial Fists

Ultramarines and imperial fist small force training exercise report 19th February 2025.

As the exercise commenced Robot Girlyman and his small force of Terminators, Hellblasters, and a balistus Dreadnaught entered from the north east of the battle zone. The imperial first force led by Tor Garadon and Danarth Lysander entered from the south and with superior numbers managed to take control of the whole length of the south of the battle zone. Girlyman made his way into the centre objective and secured a quarter of the battle zone himself while the rest of the ultramarines pushed for the east objective.

The first wounds were suffered from the imperial fists' Brutalis dreadnought in the heat of a Dreadnought faceoff. With little life remaining, charged head on into the balistus dreadnought and managed to make it explode in the process and damaging the friendly terminators that were controlling the objective. This was a big inconvenience to all caught in the blast radius!

Once the dust has settled from the explosion, the imperial fist terminators teleported in from the east led by Danarth Lysander. The dreadnought did not last much longer and was taken down by the ultramarine's  terminators. The ultramarine's terminators did not last much longer and came to their demise in a hail of storm bolter bullets and then a charge from Danarth Lysander who has an impressively sized hammer! Which he successfully bonked some terminator heads with.

The rest of the exercise comprised of the two sides infantry units whittling down each others numbers down until there were a few infantry left remaining for the imperial fists and all the ultramarines had led was of course. Mr Girlyman. Feeling lonely, he decided he would like some human contact and charged at the last remaining squads of imperial fist intercessors and of course hugged them too hard and they all perished.

The imperial fists were leading for most of the game, but the ultramarines clawed back some successful missions and the match ended in a very close victory for the Imperial Fist. Tor Garadon was very pleased about the result and also jealous he isn't as tall as Mr Girlyman. Mr Girlyman said he will "rethink his strategies for next time."

Verdict

It was nail biting battle but Imperial Fists clawed the win at last minute with the score being 58-57. Well done both players for a fun game! Look forward to seeing other Warhammer 40k players in Cardiff for our next HobbyMouse  casual play event at Rhostio coffee!

In this thrilling HobbyMouse Warhammer 40K battle report, V’s stalwart Ultramarines (led by Roboute Guilliman and Marneus Calgar) faced  off against J’s elusive Aeldari (led by a farseer) on the battlefield. With strategic brilliance on both sides, this clash promises intense firefights, psychic powers, and daring maneuvers. Who will emerge victorious in this contest of might and guile?

Aeldari Narrative:

Farseer log 12.2.25.
After our last space picnic got ruined by those troublesome monkeigh in green we decided to head down to a local planet for a spot of elevenses.

But guess who turned up! Space smurfs. So we packed the fine wraith bone china away and decided to shoo them off.

Looking across the battlefield we rejoiced as they'd only brought a handful of smurfs and a tank, easy!

Except those sneaky Mon-keigh's had brought Robot Girlyman, and despite our help in bringing him back from the dead (you're welcome Robot) he was not in the mood for a catch up.

Before we finish folding the tablecloths the big unit of smurfs has raced across the field smashing us repeatedly in the face with their big smurfy hands. Like a moshpit in a school playground our tiny little bodies flew left and right.

Confidently strode Mr Girlyman to finish off the job, but from the ruins of a nearby building a squad of fire dragons, decked out in their black and white primer away kit, torched Robot reducing him to a puddle of hot metal and flesh.

But like the undertaker from WWE, or the T-1000 from terminator 2 Papa Smurf rose again and swiftly dashed their little elf bodies against the nearby concrete.

A little unit of brave Striking Scorpions ran around trying to score as many points as possible, whilst the smurfs were distracted by all their squishy brothers and sisters but ultimately it wasn't enough.

Another fine meal ruined but Astartes scum.

Ultramarines Narrative:

Ultramarines Report to the Great Emperor:

Our home planet had just been erased. Several forces took part in the extermination so we only had one choice, launch an Exterminatus.

The order was given by Roboute Guilliman and Marneus Calgar so they got on a ship with only enough men for an incursion and left the rest to block the exit. The forces who helped in the extermination were the Tyranids, the Necrons, the forces of chaos, and finally there was Aeldari. We had to find another homeland so we decided to invade Aeldari because they were the easiest to pick off. We started one place at a time and eventually we picked off the last of their kind eliminating all Aeldari from the planet ruining their space picnic. In a desperate attempt to reclaim their homeland, they sent in the remaining Fire Dragons from other planets, with a tactical ambush they took down Roboute's 2 lives and killed him. In a howl of fury Marneus Calgar squeezed them all to death. The Ultramarines had claimed a new home land and later on brought back Roboute with their healing machines. To this day we stay in their new homeland.

Verdict

Clear Ultramarines win. Congratulations to both players for a fair and fun game! See you at the next HobbyMouse event!
